Testimonials From Families We’ve Helped

Hello, my name is Olivia, and I am a mother with a young child in high school who is in special education.

My experience with Attorney Ms. Johnson and her entire legal team was positive. Our request for one-on-one support, which the district refused to provide, was successfully obtained with the help of the team at The Law Offices of Sauda Johnson. They accompanied me to the IEP meetings and were always available to address my concerns in my language. I am grateful to The Law Offices of Sauda Johnson for their support and the resolution of my case.

From the very beginning, Sauda and her office staff have been a true blessing to our family. Their communication has always been clear, compassionate, and timely, which gave us comfort and confidence throughout every step of the process.

What stands out most is their unwavering advocacy for our child with autism and high support needs. They treated his needs as if he were their own child; never backing down, never settling for less than what he deserved, and always reminding us that his voice matters. Their persistence and skill in navigating the IEP process led to meaningful wins that have already changed his educational journey.

We are especially grateful for the way they balanced professionalism with genuine care. Every phone call, every email, and every update carried both expertise and empathy. They not only fought for services but also gave us the reassurance and strength to keep moving forward as parents.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the impact they’ve had on our family’s life. We feel supported, uplifted, and empowered because of their work. Legend now has a brighter path ahead, and that’s because Sauda and her team continue to stand beside us with dedication, patience, and grace.

In every sense of the word, they have been wonderful advocates, fierce when needed, kind always, and a true light for families navigating difficult systems.

We are forever thankful.

Sauda and her team have been a true blessing to our family. Their fierce advocacy, clear communication, and genuine compassion gave our child with autism and high support needs the services and support he deserves. We are forever grateful for the life-changing impact they’ve had on his educational journey.

I cannot fully express the gratitude I have for Ms. Sauda Johnson-McNeal and her team. From the very beginning, she has been a steady source of support, encouragement, and strength—not only for my child’s needs but also for mine as a parent. She approached every one of my concerns with grace, class, and dignity, while never hesitating to fight fiercely when the situation called for it.

For three long years, I went back and forth with the school district, trying everything I could to secure the services my son needed and deserved. It was an exhausting and often discouraging process, and I often felt like I was hitting a wall. But Ms. Johnson-McNeal never gave up. She carried the fight alongside me, and with her determination and expertise, she was able to obtain the very services I had been requesting for my son all along.

What stood out most to me was not only her legal skill and knowledge but also the way she saw us as more than just a case file. She treated us with humanity and compassion. She understood the emotional weight that comes with advocating for your child and made me feel that I wasn’t alone in this battle. She reminded me that my voice mattered and that my son’s needs mattered.

Thanks to her, my son now has access to the support he needs to thrive, and I feel like a burden has been lifted. I truly could not have done this without her. She and her team are remarkable, and I will always be grateful for what they have done for us.

Thank you again for your advocacy, professionalism, and humanity. I will always be grateful for the difference you have made in our lives.

Warm regards,

Marsedalia and Davian

"Helping a child get back on an IEP after being dismissed simply because the school did not understand their disability reminded me why I do this work. We dug deeper, uncovered her correct diagnosis, and secured the necessary services with the school. That moment—seeing a child finally receive meaningful support—is why I love what I do. It’s not just about winning; it’s about changing lives."_Parents of K. Alvarado

"My name is Rufina Porras the parent of A and A Luna. My children both have Autism and ADHD diagnoses among other diagnoses. Sauda Johnson-McNeal came into our lives when we desperately needed support to advocate for our son and daughter’s rights in the public education system. Before Sauda I was always on my own advocating for my children and trying my best to understand assessments and advocating for services not being provided to my children. Sauda not only advocates but educates and empowers parents. Since I have been working with Sauda she has helped me refine my skills. Sauda is amazing! I love that she reviews every document and makes sure my children are receiving everything that is fair and appropriate in the order of FAPE. This woman cares so much for her family’s. I remembered Sauda was pregnant and still showing up to every meeting until she was 9 months. Before Sauda I had another attorney, and my experience was completely different. I did not trust my previous attorney. The level of dedication and quality of service Sauda has provided to us does not compare. Sauda has my complete trust and appreciation. Also shout out to her team but specifically Nancy Ruiz her assistant. They truly both work as a team. My family and I appreciate Sauda for not treating us as another number in her caseload. The compassion she has towards her family’s is extraordinary. If I can choose anyone to be in my corner during an IEP or due process it be Sauda Johnson-McNeal. I love working with her!!!!!
